Think Spatter
So what do you do when you feel like your brain is exploding into a thousand pieces, and you’re not quite sure which ones to salvage and which ones to let go. As a writer, you almost welcome those moments of extreme joy or sorrow, simply because it forces you to make choices – to move outside of your comfort zone and to write. There are days when I despair of ever finding the correct thing to say. My mind feels like it is shrouded in heavy gauze, and I wonder what ever made me think that I had a talent for writing. Then, at other times, the creative force almost blasts through my fingertips. I’m weathering one of those “other” days. You know, the kind when you wonder whether you’ll ever write something exceptional; when you wonder why you even try.
